This round saw participation from several prominent institutions, including Castle Island, Coinbase Ventures, Bankless Ventures, and Mechanism Capital. Following this latest round, BOB’s cumulative funding has reached $21.1 million.BOB (Build On Bitcoin) is an EVM-compatible rollup technology stack with native Bitcoin support, designed to enable developers to build decentralized applications on Bitcoin ecosystem protocols such as Ordinals, Lightning, and Nostr. Since its inception, BOB has demonstrated rapid growth. Historical funding records indicate that the project secured $1.6 million in July 2024 and is planning a new $9.5 million funding round in August 2025. Notably, BOB officially launched its mainnet in May 2024, marking a significant milestone in its development.As the Bitcoin ecosystem continues to evolve, BOB’s technological innovation brings new possibilities to the Bitcoin network.
