Trump claims the emergence of "waterway drugs" to defend against attacks on Venezuelan offshore vessels.

Jin10 reported on October 8 that on October 7 local time, U.S. President Trump claimed during a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Carney at the White House that a new "waterway drug" is flowing into the U.S. from Venezuela via the Atlantic Ocean and other waters. He defended recent U.S. military actions against vessels off the coast of Venezuela. Trump stated during the meeting: "We call them waterway drugs, drugs coming in from the water." He mentioned that the U.S. has destroyed several suspected drug trafficking vessels.
