PANews, November 20th - Aster announced on platform X that it has completed the full buyback of S3, with a total of 55,720,650 ASTER repurchased. So far, the cumulative total of repurchased ASTER has reached 155,720,656. 50% of the repurchased tokens will be destroyed to reduce Circulating Supply and achieve long-term scarcity, with the destruction amounting to 77.8 million ASTER (approximately 1% of the total supply). The destruction date is set for December 5th, and the destruction transaction will be made public on the Blockchain. The remaining 50% of the repurchased tokens (77.8 million ASTER) will be used for future Airdrops to reward long-term users, builders, and holders. The tokens will be transferred to the Airdrop locked Address for subsequent distribution. The S3 Airdrop query will open on December 1st, and the S3 Airdrop claiming will start on December 15th. Furthermore, 60%-90% of the handling fees generated from S4 will be used for buybacks, with the buyback starting on December 10th.
