Odaily News Canadian listed company Bitcoin Treasury Corporation (BTCT) will officially resume trading on the TSX Venture Exchange. This exchange is the public venture capital market for emerging companies under TSX.
The company announced on Thursday that its common stock will be freely traded on the exchange starting June 30, under the ticker symbol "BTCT," with over 10 million shares currently issued and outstanding. Previously, the company had sold over 10 million shares of BTCT stock. This resumption of trading follows a brokerage issuance that raised a total of 125 million Canadian dollars (approximately 92 million US dollars).
Part of the financing proceeds was also used to purchase Bitcoin. According to the company, it purchased 292.80 BTC at a total cost of approximately 31.5 million dollars. (Cointelegraph)
