NVIDIA rides the AI wave to the top! NVDA hits a new high, market capitalization surpasses 5 trillion dollars.
After NVIDIA's annual GTC conference held in Washington, not only did the stock price of NVDA reach an all-time high, but it also officially became the world's first company with a market capitalization exceeding 5 trillion dollars. The market focus is on CEO Jen-Hsun Huang's announcement of new collaborations and AI ecosystem layout, drawing in government agencies, cloud giants, the automotive and telecommunications industries, all caught up in NVIDIA's “AI Super Alliance.”
Jen-Hsun Huang appeared at GTC, announcing the creation of 7 AI supercomputers.
During the keynote speech at the GTC conference in Washington, Jen-Hsun Huang announced that the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) will collaborate with NVIDIA to build 7 new AI supercomputers to advance scientific research in the United States. He stated on stage:
“DOE will work with NVIDIA to once again lead American science globally, bringing a new wave of energy and research revolution.”
One of the supercomputers will be equipped with 10,000 GPUs and will use NVIDIA's latest Blackwell architecture chips. This move not only symbolizes NVIDIA's technological dominance but also further consolidates the United States' leading position in AI computing power.
Blackwell chips have become the market focus, and US-China exports remain a key variable.
During the conference, the market focus was on whether Blackwell GPUs have the opportunity to be resold to China. Industry insiders pointed out that although the chance is only about 10% to 20%, if the US and China reach a consensus, it will become a potential upward momentum for Nvidia's stock price. Experts said:
“Even if the Chinese market cannot be opened temporarily, NVIDIA's growth momentum still comes from the massive investments from global cloud service providers and AI infrastructure, and this wave of capital will not slow down in the short term.”
Jen-Hsun Huang has signed cooperation agreements with multiple tech giants.
At this GTC conference, Jen-Hsun Huang announced a series of cross-industry collaboration projects covering the fields of technology, automotive, cybersecurity, and communications:
Uber: Will use NVIDIA's AI platform to create autonomous driving and operational decision-making systems.
CrowdStrike: Implementing GPU-accelerated models for threat detection and cybersecurity decision-making.
Eli Lilly: Procured 1,000 GPUs for new drug development and simulation experiments.
Nokia: Collaborating with NVIDIA to advance the optimization of 5G and 6G communication software, and receiving a $1 billion investment from NVIDIA.
Lucid Motors: will introduce the Nvidia Drive platform in its automotive self-driving system.
These collaborations symbolize that NVIDIA is advancing its AI platform into more “real-world application scenarios,” no longer limited to the cloud and data centers.

RoboTaxi global network blueprint exposed
Jen-Hsun Huang also announced on GTC that NVIDIA will build a global autonomous driving network centered around the Drive Hyperion platform.
“In the future, no matter which city you are in, you will be able to call a self-driving car equipped with the NVIDIA Hyperion system, which will become the core infrastructure of the global RoboTaxi ecosystem.”
This concept echoes NVIDIA's layout in automotive chips and further solidifies the company's leadership position in the “AI × Automotive” market.

Call on the U.S. not to restrict AI development, otherwise China will catch up.
During the press conference, Jen-Hsun Huang spoke frankly about the US-China AI competition:
“The United States is still far ahead in the fields of AI and chips, but if it stops investing and restricts the flow of talent, its leading advantage will be eroded.”
He emphasized that the United States should continue to invest in technology research in the AI field and attract global talent; otherwise, China may catch up in the medium to long term.
Seeing a market at the level of 500 billion USD, with market capitalization exceeding 5 trillion USD.
Jen-Hsun Huang also explicitly mentioned on GTC that the orders for just the Blackwell and Rubin chips are expected to bring NVIDIA about $500 billion in revenue. He called it the “Super Bowl moment for the AI industry,” and also a clear signal that NVIDIA is sending to the outside world:
“This is not just a few companies placing orders with each other, but rather the world is beginning to be willing to spend money to actually use AI.”
Driven by a series of positive news, NVDA's stock price reached a historic high of 212.19 USD, and its market capitalization officially broke through the 5 trillion USD mark, becoming the first company in the world to reach this threshold.
