On the 26th of February, Jinshi Data reported that Paul Chan Mo-po, Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, delivered the government's financial budget for the fiscal year 2025-2026 in the conference hall of the Legislative Council Complex of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region today (26th). Chan Mo-po stated that the Hong Kong SAR Government has successfully established a professional title evaluation mechanism for the first batch of engineering professionals in Hong Kong with Guangdong Province, and will gradually expand it to other qualified construction-related professions. The SAR government will also collaborate with Guangdong Province and the Macao SAR to establish technical standards for construction industry workers and technicians in the Greater Bay Area, as well as promote a "single test, multiple certificates" approach. The SAR government is about to announce the first trial standards for work types in the Greater Bay Area.
