CoinVoice has learned that, according to Jin10 data and the Financial Times, two officials familiar with the negotiations have stated that if trade talks with the United States break down, the European Union is preparing a potential tariff list and export control measures targeting U.S. services as one possible retaliatory action. The European Commission is drafting this measures list in response to Trump’s tariff policy, which still needs to be submitted to EU member states.

In addition, EU countries are discussing a retaliatory proposal against the United States for importing goods worth 72 billion euros annually (including tariffs on Boeing aircraft, cars, and bourbon whiskey), and the newly drafted list will be further supplemented based on this.
