The stock market continues to break records in terms of points and liquidity, and investors are rushing to open new accounts.

In nearly 10.5 million accounts at the end of July, domestic individual investors contributed over 10.4 million accounts, an increase of nearly 226 thousand accounts compared to the end of June. Meanwhile, institutional investors increased by 164 accounts, bringing the total to 18.5 thousand accounts.

For foreign investors, the number of individual accounts increased by 179 accounts, reaching over 44.1 thousand accounts. Meanwhile, organizations added 9 accounts, totaling nearly 4.7 thousand accounts.

In total, there were over 226.3 thousand accounts added in July, the highest in the past 11 months. In the first 7 months of the year, the market recorded nearly 1.2 million additional accounts.

The number of accounts continues to rise in the context of a strong rally in the stock market in July, setting new record milestones. Market liquidity has also rapidly increased, reaching an average of nearly 35 trillion VND/session on HOSE, while in June it was only nearly 20.1 trillion VND/session.
