btc # ETh The founder of Pi Network attended a meetup held in Seoul, South Korea 🇰🇷 The following is an excerpt from the project's representatives' speeches at the exchange meeting. The biggest challenges and lessons learned "In the past six or seven years, we have faced many challenges. One of the main challenges is that Pi has taken a very unconventional approach." In today's crypto space, people generally expect a standardized process: when a protocol is launched, it should be presented in a certain way. If not, they will refuse. But true innovation comes from breaking these patterns. We have always focused on building mainstream users—real products, real users, and real merchants—rather than just attracting those who are only interested in price speculation. Because of this, we have developed features such as native KYC solutions, allowing millions of users from nearly all countries/regions to verify themselves without having to pay out of their own pockets. Currently, over 14 million users have completed KYC, which is unprecedented in the blockchain space. We believe that KYC is crucial for true ownership, compliance, and usability in Web3. Another major challenge is scale. Most blockchain projects can operate smoothly with thousands of users, but Pi has tens of millions of daily active users. This brings challenges similar to those faced by Web2 giants—running thousands of servers and databases to handle massive traffic. In the early years, our community grew faster than the infrastructure could be built, leading to frequent outages. Today, the system has stabilized, but scaling remains one of the trickiest technical challenges. In short, the challenges we face stem from taking a different path and expanding into the internet-level usage. However, these difficulties will shape Pi into a stronger project, always guided by our North Star: to build truly practical functions for everyday life. Our approach to ecology has two levels. "First is the grassroots." Many people are creating utilities, and although the overall value may be lower, this process often produces high-quality applications. This is why we launched plans like App Studio, which enables the public to have the ability to create. On this basis, we select the best applications and provide support through models such as the Pi App Network, offering resources to developers and creators. This also helps achieve breakthroughs, including leveraging artificial intelligence to empower the creation of the next generation of applications. Second, a top-down approach is implemented step by step. Through Pi Network Ventures, we focus on maintaining a high-quality team that aligns with Pi and encourages them to build within the Pi ecosystem. Like any investment fund, we can only support a few projects each year (about a dozen). Therefore, Pi Network Ventures is a high-bar, carefully vetted, and highly interactive initiative. Through this bi-directional strategy, our goal is to promote the creation of the next generation of impactful applications on Pi. -Pi Core Team-

The transition of traditional Web2 to encryption is both a challenge and a breakthrough. After the replacement, PI will definitely take the lead in this field.
