###Stock Markets in U.S. & U.K. Will Close October 27, 2025

Mark your calendars. Both American and British stock markets won't be open on Monday, October 27, 2025.

The big exchanges are taking a day off. NYSE, Nasdaq, London Stock Exchange - all closed. Nobody's trading that day.

It's because of some national holidays. The Brits call it Autumn Bank Holiday. Americans have their own thing going on. Kind of interesting how these closures line up sometimes.

Markets should be back Tuesday. October 28th. Business as usual.

This isn't the only UK market holiday in 2025, of course. The LSE will shut down for New Year's on January 1st. Then there's Good Friday on April 18th. Easter Monday follows on the 21st. And don't forget August 25th - that's their Summer Bank Holiday. Lots of breaks!

Might be a good idea to plan around this closure. Your investments aren't going anywhere that day. It seems like a nice chance to step back from the markets. Review your strategy maybe? Or just enjoy not checking stock prices for once.

Happy holiday when it comes. Trading will be there when you get back.
