Today, my account was remotely compromised. Multiple tweets on Twitter were deleted, including the scam review content posted yesterday. Subsequently, malicious actors posted a phishing tweet in an attempt to further expand their impact. The replies and likes in the screenshots are not operated by me. Fortunately, I have successfully regained control of the account, and I will re-post the relevant content after switching devices.
This incident highlights organized phishing attacks targeting Chinese community users. The scam team clearly understands Chinese and deliberately targets domestic users for fraud. Remote account takeover and Twitter phishing have become common threats in the Web3 space—they not only delete original content to destroy evidence but also use compromised accounts to spread false information and deceive followers.
My advice to everyone: enable two-factor authentication, change your password regularly, be vigilant about suspicious login prompts, and be cautious when clicking unknown links. Account security is the first line of defense.
