Nvidia Robotics Division Head Jim Fan recently praised the performance of Tesla FSD14. In his view, this system has already passed the so-called "Physical Turing Test"—a recognition coming from a senior expert in the robotics field, which underscores its significance.
Jim Fan predicts that by 2026, Tesla is very likely to solve the autonomous driving challenge at a speed similar to the furious mode in FSD. By then, human intervention in vehicles will be nearly zero. What does this mean? The era of fully autonomous driving could arrive faster than we imagine.
It is worth noting that Jim Fan himself is a professional in robotics technology. Being so impressed by FSD14 indicates that the progress of this system has indeed exceeded industry expectations.
