【Chain Wen】Recently, the Web3 fan economy circle has been quite lively. An idol fan ecosystem MEET48, centered around Web3 as the core underlying architecture and integrating AI and user-generated content (UGC), has just concluded its second voting event. Speaking of the numbers, they are quite eye-catching: fans cast a total of over 20 million votes, specifically 20,342,242 votes.

From on-chain data, this wave of popularity is quite directly reflected. According to DappBay statistics, the MEET48 event dApp’s transaction count (TXN) in the past week reached 619.48K, and the daily active wallet addresses (UAW) surpassed 356.18K. Even more impressive, this project became the number one in UAW across the entire BSC ecosystem within 24 hours in the social track, and also ranked first in the BSC ecosystem over 7 days — a notable achievement in the highly competitive BSC environment.

In terms of incentive design, the official team also put in effort. The top 7 idols in voting can receive official rewards, and the top 3 idols (including Hu Xiaohui, Liu Zengyan, Zhang Leilei) will get not only regular rewards but also rare content such as studio-recorded songs, overseas travel vlogs, and themed photo shoots.

Interestingly, this ecosystem is still expanding. Tomorrow (Korea time 1:30-6:00 PM) in Seoul, MEET48 will collaborate with POChain, AuditionsGO (an AIUGC virtual idol training game developed by the original team behind the classic dance game Audition), Hash Global, Web3 Entertainment Alliance, and other ecosystem partners, with the technical support of BNB Chain, to hold a “2026 AI Entertainment UGC Platform and Web3.0 Development Strategy Launch Conference.” There will also be performances and fan interactions featuring the first batch of Best7 idols and top creators.

From the scale of fan voting, to DApp activity data, and ecosystem collaboration, this combination reflects the current popularity of the Web3 fan economy track. The combination of virtual idols + AIUGC + social interaction indeed taps into some user needs.
