The blockchain computing scalability protocol TrueBit recently ran into difficulties. According to industry data, the project's native token TRU price dropped to $0.000002448, nearly halving within 24 hours.

More severely, on-chain data shows that TrueBit was attacked on January 8. The hacker stole 8,535 ETH, with losses amounting to as much as $26.4 million at the time. This incident dealt a significant blow to the protocol's ecosystem and once again exposed the risks of smart contract security. The market reacted strongly, and the token price plummeted accordingly.

Another project that got hacked, this time TrueBit, $26.4 million just gone... --- TRU is almost zero, smart contract security really needs to be taken seriously --- Hackers are so rampant, we have to watch our wallets ourselves --- Cut in half? Probably to the knees, TrueBit will have to recover for a long time --- $26.4 million, just because of a vulnerability... just thinking about it hurts --- That's why I don't touch those small projects, the risk is too high --- Smart contract audits really can't be skipped, lessons learned the hard way

Another project is finished, and this time it was hacked again, sigh. TrueBit is probably completely dead now. $26.4 million is gone, who can handle this? Contract security is really a big pit, does anyone still dare to go all-in? A half-deal isn't a big deal; the problem is the loss of confidence. I've always said these kinds of projects are risky, and now it's clear.

Really? TRU got hacked again? I should have expected it; security has always been a pitfall. Bankruptcy crisis coming? How much will they have to pay this time... Once again, it's a smart contract vulnerability. When will it ever be fixed? This time, TrueBit is probably very hard to turn around; $26.4 million lost. Oh my, how many people are losing money? This is so upsetting. Forget it, just withdraw if you need to. The risk is too high.

Another project that got hacked. I calculated my losses this time—enough to buy how many meals?
