2026 CES sent a clear signal: robotics has moved from the "future" to the "present."

The current situation is quite interesting; robotics technology is behaving much like the early stages of cryptocurrency. It seems that each company is working independently on their robots, each very capable on their own, but lacking collaboration. Hardware varies widely, tech stacks are incompatible, and there is no unified coordination mechanism—it's a complete lack of leadership. However, as robots gradually become integrated into our daily lives, this isolated state won't last long. By then, the fragmented landscape will inevitably be broken, and true ecosystem integration will emerge.

Crypto veterans watch robots, this analogy is perfect. The feeling of a leaderless group is all too familiar to me; the crypto world has been like this for years. Speaking of which, when these robots are truly integrated, how many projects will die? Haha.

Wow, isn't this just a replica of the crypto world back in the day? Everyone doing their own thing, but in the end, they still have to unify standards. Robots are suffering from the same problem now.

Here we go again, the robot version of the 2017 crypto circle? I really didn't expect the hardware incompatibility issue.

Wow, that's a perfect analogy, just like in the early days of the crypto world... Everyone mines for themselves and enjoys it, but in the end, a unified standard is still needed.
