The core logic of these large traffic-driven platforms is actually very naked—using algorithmic addiction mechanisms to drain users' attention, then packaging and selling it to advertisers. Behind products like short videos and information streams, essentially, there is a carefully designed exploitation system.

Ironically, the decision-makers of these platforms never let their own children or parents spend long hours on these apps. They are well aware of the dangers of this mechanism, which is why they target the "ordinary people's" children. A classic double standard.

My approach is very straightforward: try to keep children as far away as possible from these platform ecosystems. Instead of being hijacked by algorithms, it's better to engage more with decentralized applications that truly respect user sovereignty and where data belongs to the user. This is the long-term self-protection.

That's right, these people are just playing double standards. My family members have already deleted it. Now my kids are playing with Web3 stuff. Although the ecosystem is not yet perfect, at least the data belongs to them, and no one is secretly watching to extract value.

This is exactly what I've been saying, the double standards of Web2 giants are unbelievable. --- To be honest, they don't even use their own products, which is the most ironic part. --- Decentralized applications are the way out; data is truly in your own hands. --- Algorithm addiction mechanisms are basically modern opium; wake up, everyone. --- The double standard is really disgusting. They protect their own children fiercely, but turn around and target ordinary people. --- Instead of being defenseless, it's better to put data on the chain; at least it's transparent. --- Short video platforms are meticulously designed vampires, no doubt. --- I've already started guiding people around me into the Web3 ecosystem; it's better than being cut like a leek. --- Well said, true self-protection is refusing to let data be commodified. --- This system should have collapsed long ago; using users' lives to earn advertising revenue is outrageous.

Oh wow, these double standards are really something. Well said. Speaking of which, the Web3 ecosystem is indeed a way out, at least data rights are in your own hands. Your own kids really need to be protected well, don't let them be turned into traffic machines.

That's so right. These people are the epitome of double standards. They use Web3 applications themselves but push ordinary users into information cocoons. --- Decentralized applications are the way out. I've been doing this for a long time. --- The most disgusting thing is this hypocrisy: they enjoy the traffic dividends above but warn their own children against playing these. --- I feel the same. I'm gradually migrating my family to on-chain social platforms. Although the ecosystem is still immature, at least the data belongs to us. --- They don't even dare to touch algorithmic poison themselves. Why should our children be the ones to suffer? --- Although the path of Web3 is difficult, it's definitely better than being cut for the leek. I'm seriously considering turning around.

Realizing too late, my kid has already become addicted to the刷 (scrolling) --- That's right, we really should guide them towards Web3 --- Platform parents don't even use it themselves, haha --- Decentralized applications are indeed the way out, but it's still a bit difficult for ordinary people to use --- Double standards are just naked class division, disgusting --- I've already turned off short videos for my kid, and the effect is pretty good --- This exploitation system is too deep; there's no way to change it, so I can only hide from it --- The crypto ecosystem still needs more parent-friendly products --- Some parents can't even quit themselves, how can they supervise their kids... --- I agree, it's not too late to start shifting towards applications that promote autonomy
