About Space Computing Power China (Global Leader):

May 2025: Launch of the world's first space computing satellite constellation (one rocket, 12 satellites), initiated by Guoxing Aerospace's "Star Computing" project and the SanTi Computing Constellation at ZheJiang Laboratory. Single satellite computing power up to 744 TOPS, 12-satellite network achieves 5 POPS (tens of quintillions of operations per second), inter-satellite laser communication at 100 Gbps, equipped with an 8 billion parameter space-based model, providing commercial on-orbit computing services.

"SanTi Computing Constellation": a constellation of thousands of satellites, aiming for a total computing power of 1000 POPS (hundreds of billions of operations per second) by 2030.

"Star Computing" Project: targets 2,800 satellites to build the world's first artificial intelligence space infrastructure.

Beijing Deployment: constructing GW-level centralized space data centers on the 700-800 km dawn-dusk orbit, in three phases (2025-2035), ultimately supporting "space-based main computing."

Others: CAS Star Map and Sugon collaborate to build space computing networks; the "Zero-Carbon Space Computing Center" received the 2025 World Internet Conference boutique achievement award and has been serving scientific research institutions.

China leads in distributed computing constellation networking and commercialization, while overseas efforts are mostly in single-satellite validation or planning stages.
