Since the beginning of the year, ETH has adjusted from around 3300 and has now fallen by 7.69%. After this retracement, does this secondary coin still have room to rise? What does the market think?

Honestly, both BTC and ETH are currently at a critical crossroads. Although ETH has not yet broken through its historical high of 3446, the big brother BTC has already surpassed its previous resistance level of 94500. The key point is that ETH's subsequent momentum largely depends on BTC's performance.

There are two possible scenarios for the upcoming trend, and the truth will be revealed in the next few days:

**First Scenario (Optimistic Expectation)**

If ETH effectively breaks above 3170 tonight, even if it faces downward pressure from news in the future, it should not fall below the support level of 3053. Once stabilized, a rapid rise is not a dream, and it may directly break through 3446.

**Second Scenario (Risk Scenario)**

This time, BTC is a bit special — its high point arrived one week earlier than the original Gann time cycle, meaning 1.6 at 94744 could be the top. This situation is extremely rare, but not entirely impossible. If this happens, ETH will also fall into a new round of decline. The market manifestation would be a break below 3053 in the next one or two days with weak rebounds, followed by continued downward movement.

Market conditions change rapidly, and this analysis is just an interpretation of the current situation. The real changes will ultimately depend on what the market says.

Gann cycle theory again? I feel like every time someone mentions it, and then nothing happens...

It's another life dictated by BTC's mood. When will ETH be able to stand independently?

3053, break and run, let's wait and see BTC's reaction... I'm not very convinced by this Gann cycle approach.

It's another time to watch BTC's mood. ETH is really exhausted. We'll know in the next couple of days whether 3053 breaks or not.
