Having navigated the crypto world for eight years, my biggest takeaway isn't some secret trick, but learning to "stay calm and avoid greed." Persisting with simple methods, my principal investment has increased nearly a hundredfold. Today, I want to share six survival rules I've summarized along the way.

**Steady small gains and minor corrections are good signals; avoid panic selling during sharp rises and falls**

The method to observe the market is actually simple—steady upward movement with corrections not exceeding 10%, which usually indicates a good trend; but if there's a big surge followed by a sharp drop within a day, it's likely a signal of the main players taking profits. Don't let emotions control your decisions.

**The more aggressive the calls, the farther you should stay**

Those shouting "100x to the moon" every day, no matter how many screenshots they show, don't follow the hype. Truly valuable projects rely on fundamentals and ecosystem development, not brainwashing to recruit others.

**Always invest only 30%, keep 70% as a buffer for black swan events**

No matter how promising a coin looks, only risk 30% of your total funds. The remaining 70% is insurance—only alive can you continue to earn. Full positions can be wiped out in a big dip forever.

**Unrealized gains don't count; lock in profits first**

No matter how impressive the numbers in your account, they aren't real money. When profits reach your target, whether they've multiplied many times, first transfer half of the profits to your wallet. Only then do you have the qualification to pursue bigger gains. This is discipline and a life-saving measure.

**Don't touch coins you don't understand, no matter how hot they are**

New concepts emerge endlessly—NFTs, AI, RWA... the list never ends. The key is to recognize your own limits; don't chase money outside your knowledge. This way, you won't end up as the last bag-holder.

These methods have helped me through greed in a bull market and fear in a bear market. Rules are more important than intelligence—remember this, and you'll go further in the crypto world.

Eight years... sounds good, but I just want to ask how many people can really achieve a 30% position. Anyway, from what I see around me, either full position all-in or already ran away long ago.

That's so true, being alive is the top priority. I've seen too many buddies who go all-in and disappear after a single gamble.

The most listened to is this set, but only a few can truly stick with it.

It took eight years to realize this, but I understood it in four years. The key is whether you can stick with it, isn't it?
