#稳定币支付与应用 Seeing the increasingly important role of stablecoins in prediction markets, I am truly excited. This is no small matter — Visa is already using USDC for on-chain settlements. What does this indicate? Traditional finance is taking stablecoins as a settlement infrastructure seriously.

Previously, everyone viewed stablecoins as speculative assets, but the story now is completely different. In prediction markets, stablecoins are like blood vessels — users can access and deposit 24/7, global liquidity flows seamlessly, and settlements are almost instantaneous. This solves long-standing issues for traditional betting platforms: withdrawal delays, regional restrictions, and high costs.

What’s truly interesting is that the 2026 World Cup will serve as a "stress test." With 48 teams from North America, 104 matches, and 16 cities, hundreds of billions of dollars in transactions will need to be processed in just five weeks. Under such peak loads, can stablecoins settle transactions stably? Can platforms maintain a smooth experience while meeting KYC and AML requirements? These are not technical issues; they are regulatory design challenges.

My judgment is: platforms that can elegantly utilize stablecoin payments within a strong regulatory framework will be the winners in the next phase. Not because they have the most innovation, but because they understand a simple truth — in finance, trust and stability are always more valuable than flashy features. Stablecoin payments are not the future; they are already here.
