What is the first thing you do when you open your eyes every day? Scroll through screens, reply to messages, like posts, read news. It seems very routine, but what are you actually doing? Contributing your attention, feeding platform algorithms, continuously generating data assets.

What are the platform operators doing? They package this data into a gold mine. Advertising fees, funding valuations, hundreds of billions flow into the pockets of giants. And what about you? Besides the pleasure of scrolling, there’s nothing else. No salary, no profit sharing, no compensation whatsoever.

This doesn’t seem quite right. You put in labor and data, yet you’re creating wealth for others. How much longer will these game rules last?
