In the week starting January 2026, our quantitative strategy triggered 17 orders, of which 13 were profitable, 1 incurred a loss, and 3 almost missed the entry. To be honest, this performance isn't outstanding, but the underlying logic is worth discussing.

The precise entry points for BTC have maintained a deviation of about 50 points, while ETH is more aggressive, controlled within 3 points. Why do this? Because in the futures market, a difference of even a fraction of a point at the entry can determine the outcome of the entire trade.

The core philosophy of quantitative trading is actually very simple: only execute orders that you understand clearly. When the market is unpredictable and confusing, the smartest choice is to stay on the sidelines, get a good night's sleep, and not be led by market noise.

To those who are struggling in the futures market, I want to say: no matter how advanced your cognitive system is, if it cannot be translated into practical strategic advantages and risk-adjusted net profits, at best it’s just background music. No matter how grand the narrative, if it cannot be grounded in precise execution and strict risk control discipline, in the end, it’s just a mirage.

The 13/17 profit rate data, I would have been hyping it up half a year ago. Now it just looks like... a routine operation that should theoretically be feasible. The most heartbreaking part is that—cognitive systems can't turn into net profit. In plain terms, Lu Ban No.7 is still under construction, with maximum academic value and minimum practical value.

This is the true principle of contract trading—easy to understand, hard to implement. Behind the 13 profitable trades are undoubtedly countless experiences gained from being proven wrong multiple times. I have deep experience in holding a vacant position and observing the market; I previously lost a lot by chasing trends. The three orders that almost didn't enter the market are the real test of mentality. If you can hold back, you will profit.

Hey, 13 profits and you still dare to say it's not outstanding? This data alone could beat most people in the market instantly. Wait, BTC deviates by 50 points and the tolerance is so loose, why not take more? I respect the idea of staying out of the market and observing, but can anyone really do that? Haha. Transforming cognition into profit really hits home; many big V's have died right here. Entering ETH at 3 points, really brave. Do you eat slippage or not?

76% win rate is indeed stable, but I’m actually more concerned about those three orders that almost didn’t fill. Was it slippage or network lag? --- That’s right, even a tiny difference can be deadly. I’ve seen too many people get caught at the entry point. --- I deeply understand the patience to wait on the sidelines; sleep quality directly improves. --- If your cognitive system doesn’t translate into profit, it’s just worthless paper. That hits hard. --- Controlling ETH at 3 points? That’s a bit aggressive. Can you handle big retracements? --- The last two paragraphs sound a bit like chicken soup, but they really hit the core. --- Making 13 and losing 1, not entering 3 — this performance seems plain but is actually good. The key is having a system. --- Risk control discipline is more important than the strategy itself, I agree with that. --- The problem is there’s too much fog in the market. How do you judge when to go all in or out? --- Futures contracts are just afraid of being exploited by network delays. No matter how precise the entry point, it’s useless. --- 17 trades in a week, that’s not a lot of data. Is the sample size enough? --- I also want to only take trades I understand, but I can’t understand any of them.

76% win rate, the key is still the empty position discipline, which is the hardest part.

Wow, 13 profits and you still say it's not outstanding? I only had 6 entries this week, and 3 of them were liquidated directly. I really can't hold on anymore.
