The Walrus project is actually quite interesting—while others are focused on contract speed and trading experience, it instead targets the overlooked storage sector. Built on the Sui chain, it creates decentralized sharded storage, truly addressing the two core pain points of data security and durability. The WAL token's incentive mechanism is well-designed, clearly balancing node operation costs and rewards.

From a technical perspective, what Web3 lacks is this kind of foundational infrastructure innovation. Storage has always been a bottleneck, and Walrus's approach of reducing costs and increasing efficiency through sharded storage is quite intriguing. When node incentives are well understood, the ecosystem can truly take off.

Looking back now, if projects like this can emerge during a bull market, they definitely have potential. Missed this round, but when the next bull run comes, projects of this infrastructure type are worth a serious look.
