When it comes to compliance tracks in the crypto industry, few projects can simultaneously balance privacy protection and transparent auditing. Since its inception in 2018, Dusk has been built on a Layer1 blockchain architecture, focusing on creating compliant financial infrastructure. Through modular design, it has achieved this seemingly contradictory dual requirement. This positioning makes it the optimal choice for traditional financial institutions entering the crypto space.
The ecosystem deployment is entering an intense explosion phase. In the second week of January, the DuskEVM mainnet is set to go live, an application layer compatible with the EVM standard. Developers can directly deploy Solidity smart contracts, with all transactions ultimately settled on Dusk Layer1. This design completely removes the barriers to technological migration—whether for compliant DeFi or RWA applications, scalable deployment paths can be found. It is expected to trigger a new wave of project onboarding.
More notably, DuskTrade, an RWA application, is worth attention. Developed in partnership with the Dutch licensed exchange NPEX, it plans to launch operations in 2026. The platform is designed to handle tokenized securities trading exceeding €300 million, and the waiting list has attracted many institutions and investors since opening in January. Real assets are continuously being brought on-chain, implying stable cash flow and trading demand, which lays the foundation for the entire ecosystem’s value closed-loop.
Hedger Alpha is already in the operational stage. It leverages zero-knowledge proofs and homomorphic encryption to achieve both transaction privacy and auditability within the EVM ecosystem. The pain points most concerning regulated entities—banks, brokerages, funds—regarding blockchain compliance are addressed here. Additionally, deeper collaboration with Chainlink enhances data credibility and cross-chain capabilities, making Dusk’s technological competitiveness increasingly apparent.
From the perspective of token holders, the explosion of compliant DeFi, the large-scale deployment of RWA assets, and continuous inflows of institutional funds all directly support the value of core tokens within the ecosystem. Currently, the project is at a critical juncture with the mainnet launch and RWA deployment, with market enthusiasm and ecosystem momentum both rising. For investors optimistic about regulation-friendly tracks, this is a window worth observing.
