Rules are always more valuable than market movements; execution is always more reliable than talent.

Three months ago, my account was a mess. An 80,000 USD hole almost suffocated me, and doubling a 1,000 USD investment was just a dream. I was constantly torn between persistence and giving up, and those days were truly tough.

Looking back now, these 92 days feel like I’ve become a different person. Starting from earning 3,200 USD on a single trade, I achieved steady gains for six consecutive days, and finally my account balance broke through 300,000 USD. Many people would say I was extremely lucky, but honestly—I believe true reversal never relies on luck; it depends on two things: rules and execution.

**Noise is the biggest enemy**

In the beginning, like other newbies, my mind was filled with noise. What did Trump say again? Will a certain ETF get approved? Did another exchange have issues? Every day I was pulled by these news, and as a result, my account was operated to become thinner and thinner.

Later, I realized a truth: news is like poison, and most people have no resistance to it. I set a strict rule for myself—unless it’s a true black swan event, I ignore all other news. I left the chat groups, turned off all market alerts, and just focused on the price K-line.

The crypto market is inherently volatile. FOMO and FUD are the two demons every investor must face. When overwhelming negative information hits, only by sticking to independent thinking and building your own belief system can you live like a real person.

**Capture structure, abandon illusions**

I no longer try to catch every small wave. Instead, I focus my energy on identifying the main trend. Just like ETH rebounded from 800 USD to 2000 USD—if the trend judgment is correct, the small fluctuations in between are simply not worth mentioning.

You're absolutely right, following the rules is essential. I used to be overwhelmed by notifications, but I realized that turning off alerts really saved me.

From 80,000 holes to 300,000 U, this story does sound a bit intense. But to be honest, I agree most with the phrase "rules are more valuable than market trends"—I've also been cut by news too many times to recover, and only then did I slowly learn to shut up and watch the K-line. That FOMO feeling is truly deadly; whenever I see others hyping a coin, I want to jump in, but my account ends up like a roller coaster.

Honestly, this story really got me hooked... 92 days from an 80,000 gap to 300,000. If I hadn't experienced that kind of despair myself, I wouldn't believe it. The key line "Rules are more reliable than talent" really struck a chord with me. I used to chase every trend and get cut, but I later realized that sticking to a set of rules can really save your life. But I want to ask, are you still following that set of rules now? Or have you started listening to tips again after making some money... That's what I fear the most—earning a bit and then starting to doubt myself.

Exactly right, that group chat is really a tumor, the account only started to rise after quitting.
