BNB Chain Official Discusses Meme Ecosystem: Entertainment First, Staying True to the Community's Original Intent

Abstract generation in progress

【Chain Wen】The Head of Growth at BNB Chain recently shared their views on meme culture. While deeply involved in and understanding the workings of the meme community, she emphasized that everyone should experience this culture with an entertainment mindset rather than over-focusing on other factors.

She stated that, as an ecosystem, BSC most hopes to see genuine grassroots culture coming from the community without excessive packaging. These cultures should grow organically rather than be meticulously designed.

At the same time, she also made an important statement: although she has a certain sensitivity to online culture, she will not participate in any token issuance activities. This is to maintain independence and fairness, and she hopes the community can understand this. Overall, this is an honest communication about the healthy development of the ecosystem.

Nice words, but it's just to make us happy and excited ourselves.

The saying "Entertainment above all" really feels like a preemptive strike, probably to avoid being accused of cutting leeks. To put it nicely, it still depends on whether real money is involved in the ecosystem. Not participating in token sales? What about her friends? Now that's interesting. Organic growth sounds nice, but right now, it's hard to find projects that aren't heavily packaged; it's all routines. It seems like just reaffirming their stance; actions speak louder than words. Meme communities are just for fun, why think so much? The officials are overthinking it.

Entertainment first? That sounds good, but real memes still depend on the community to create themselves. Don't rely on those carefully crafted setups.

Sounds nice, but aren't the truly organically grown memes already ruined by big players? Just listen to that, don't take it too seriously. If you're not participating in token sales, what about those earlier ones? Entertainment above all, who still believes that? In the end, it's all about making money. Grassroots culture? Are there still genuine grassroots now?

Entertainment comes first? Sounds nice, but isn't it all just about trying to cut the leeks haha --- Organic growth sounds good, but which meme project isn't backed by capital pushers nowadays... --- I support not participating in token sale events --- True grassroots culture has been killed by scaling, now it's all carefully packaged "grassroots" --- Want to keep the BSC ecosystem pure? That's tough, brother --- At least they dare to speak out, which is more conscientious than those who secretly cut.
