Canary Capital’s HBAR ETF shows a particularly remarkable accumulation dynamic at the end of December, with daily purchases representing approximately 8 million tokens. This steady increase has brought the fund’s holdings to about 473 million tokens, signaling a clear institutional conviction regarding the long-term prospects of the Hedera project. This accumulation contrasts sharply with short-term price action, suggesting that major players are adopting a strategy of gradual position building.

Technical Pressure and Critical Levels

Despite this sustained accumulation, HBAR remains trapped in a downtrend channel. The price is hitting a well-defined resistance zone between $0.117 and $0.126, where repeated rejections reveal persistent supply that buyers are struggling to absorb. Downward, support is located between $0.104 and $0.106, creating a tight trading range.

A decisive break below $0.107 would be a concerning signal, potentially opening the door to deeper liquidity and lower levels. Conversely, continued accumulation by institutional funds above this threshold could eventually turn this technical resistance into a bullish catalyst.
