The current 'very annoying thing' that's happening on X is people harvesting your content for their own mindshare on leaderboards using AI and QT.
> I make unique content that takes over 1hr (research + writing + proof reading + editing)
> Random copy and pastes my post into AI and asks for a summary
> Random pastes summary into a QT of my post
> Random instantly has good, well summarised content on a specific leaderboard that they instantly start earning mindshare on
This is very annoying - especially as I've noted these QT's can often do very well and get good engagement.
But isn't this stolen engagement? Should I be annoyed? Should I block people who do this?
