Many people are trapped by a curse — too little principal to turn things around. Accounts below 1500U seem to have to accept their fate.

But I’ve seen breakouts happen. A friend started with 1200U, and after three months, his account grew to 50,000U, all without a single liquidation. When asked for his secret, he smiled and said it’s nothing mystical, just sticking to three rules.

**Rule 1: Divide the principal into three parts, each with a mission**

He split the 1200U into three 400U portions. The first is for short-term trades, with a maximum of two orders per day, relying on self-discipline to control impulsive reactions; the second is for observing the market, waiting for a clear trend before acting; the last is untouched — the safety net. This setup reduces psychological pressure; even if the first two parts are wiped out, there’s still a fallback.

**Rule 2: Only eat the trend’s meat, don’t gnaw on the choppy bones**

How many have you seen opening trades frequently within sideways ranges, only to be wiped out? He simply gave up on that game. As long as the market has no clear direction, he ignores all tempting signals. Wait for a confirmed trend before entering, even if you miss some initial moves, staying alive is the priority to keep earning.

After earning 30%, his approach gets even more ruthless — immediately withdraw half, leaving the rest as a gift from the market. This may seem greedy, but it’s actually a safeguard against ruthless market reversals.

**Rule 3: Use strict rules to defeat emotional trading**

Set a fixed stop-loss at 3%, and exit immediately when hit — no hesitation. Once profits reach 10%, instantly move the stop-loss to break-even, letting profits run. After establishing this system, he doesn’t need to stare at the screen all night; just a few minutes to review is enough, turning trading into a mechanical process.

In three months, 1200U turned into 50,000U. More importantly, beyond making money, his mindset became exceptionally steady — no rollercoaster emotions, only disciplined execution.

Many people misunderstand the logic of turning things around. The crypto comeback isn’t about full-margin gambling like a reckless gambler, but about using position sizing for defense, patience for trend waiting, and discipline to conquer emotions. It sounds simple, but very few can truly implement it.

To be honest, this theory sounds quite plausible, but I still want to ask—did he really execute it for a full three months? I've seen too many stories in the crypto world about "40x in three months," and hindsight is always 20/20.

ngl the partition strategy here is technically sound, but let's dissect the actual vulnerability—most people will emotionally override those "dead rules" the moment fomo kicks in. interesting edge case though, that 3% hard stop actually works if you don't rationalize your way out of it.

Basically, it's about self-discipline; most people fail because of their emotions.

To be honest, I've known about the split position strategy for a long time, but no one can really stick with it.

Sounds good, but how many can truly stick to discipline? I've tried myself, and I broke it in just three days...

Sounds good in theory, but execution is truly hell mode.

That's right, it's about discipline, but truly capable people are indeed rare...
