🔍 **What exactly is the Active Verification Service (AVS)?**

Simply put, AVS is a network composed of a group of verifiers whose job is to monitor transactions and services to ensure everything is in order. In blockchain, these verifiers are usually nodes or participants in the network, checking each transaction in real-time.

**How does it work? Breaking it down**

The entire process involves several steps:

You initiate a transaction or service request → The transaction is broadcast to all verifiers → Verifiers individually check the authenticity and correctness of the transaction → Consensus is reached on the validity of the transaction → Validated transactions are finally recorded on the blockchain

These five steps are interconnected and indispensable.

**Continuous monitoring is key**

The most impressive aspect of AVS is its continuous monitoring capability. Verifiers don’t just verify and stop; they remain online constantly, continuously checking transactions and services to ensure they meet established standards. It is this uninterrupted supervision mechanism that guarantees the integrity and reliability of the entire network. Without these verifiers taking turns to guard, the security of the blockchain would be greatly compromised.
