Do you remember back in 2013, when I registered my first domain name? At that time, I was mainly engaged in cross-border e-commerce and was also thinking about creating a shopping guide platform. To get the necessary filings and registration, I went to a company in Changping, Beijing. The procedures were incredibly complicated, and the approval process was painfully slow.

Back then, the internet was already beginning to transform, and with the advent of the mobile internet era, these processes should have been fully digitalized. But reality was so frustrating. Online processing was indeed much more convenient, but in comparison, the entire process still felt very cumbersome.

Now, in the Web3 era, we are witnessing the second evolution of domain names. Decentralized domains are no longer based on the traditional model but truly return rights to users. Registration, management, and trading—all are completed on the blockchain, with no middlemen, no tedious approvals, and efficiency doubled. This change is not just a technological upgrade but a reshaping of the entire ecosystem's operational logic.

On-chain domain names are really cool, but there are still people who don't dare to try.

On-chain domain names sound good, but it depends on how the tokenomics are designed; it shouldn't turn into another capital game.

Haha, I just remembered, back then, registration was really a hassle. Isn't it more convenient now with one-click on the chain?

Haha, laughing to death. The process from 2013 really was a torment when I think about it now. Decentralized domains are truly satisfying; finally, no need to look at the middleman's face. Web3 is all about smashing these cumbersome things and starting over completely.

Bro, this is the real arbitrage opportunity. Domains are moving from centralized to decentralized, and middlemen are being eliminated one after another.

On-chain domain names are indeed great, but you still need to be cautious of being snatched up.
