Trump: Although Powell is facing an investigation, I have no intention of ousting him for now

U.S. President Trump said on Wednesday that despite the Department of Justice conducting a criminal investigation into Federal Reserve Chairman Powell, he currently has no plans to dismiss him, and it is "still too early" to determine what actions he will ultimately take.
When asked if he would try to remove Powell from his position, Trump told Reuters, "I have no such plans at the moment." When asked if the investigation gave him a reason to take action, Trump added, "For now, we are adopting a wait-and-see approach with him, and we are studying what to do next. But I can't reveal details. It's still too early."
