A few insights from my recent top-tapping operations on VVV, just to record them.
This round, VVV has increased fivefold, and the overall rhythm is quite good. Earlier, around 3.09, I led everyone to short, and the gains doubled. The strategy was publicly shared on the forum—using a position reduction approach: when the target level is reached, cut half, and use the profits to offset the remaining position, so that the subsequent fluctuations are less damaging.
Looking back at the details now. At the 3.59 level, I placed a short again to continue testing the top. The top-tapping rhythm of VVV and IP is actually very suitable for short-term operations. Previously, I never reduced IP’s position and held it all along. But for VVV, I took profit once when it doubled, and the effect was quite good.
If the price level is strong enough, hold on and see how it develops. In the short-term oscillating market, as long as there are clear upper and lower bounds, you can repeatedly test this approach.
