BTC consolidating at high levels, awaiting a breakout; short-term range trading remains dominant
The market has always been a feast for the patient. Volatility is not the end but a prelude to a new trend; currently, BTC is consolidating at high levels, with increasing bullish and bearish battles. Returning to technical and capital flow resonance is the only way to grasp a clear direction.
News: Recently, spot ETF capital inflows have slowed, and institutional profit-taking has increased; there are no major negative regulatory signals at the moment. The market is focusing on macro liquidity and industry fundamentals, with short-term sentiment leaning cautious, awaiting clear catalysts.
Technical: The current price is oscillating narrowly around 95,300. The 4-hour chart shows a high-level converging triangle pattern, with Bollinger Bands continuously narrowing. The upper band resistance is at 97,500-98,000, and the lower band support is at 94,000-94,500. The moving average system shows the 5-day moving average still providing support, while the 10-day moving average is flat, indicating weakening upward momentum. The MACD bullish momentum is shrinking, RSI hovers between 55-60, with no obvious overbought or oversold signals, suggesting a short-term directional choice is near.
Strategy: In the short term, focus on range trading—buying low and selling high within the range, avoiding blindly chasing rallies or panicking sell-offs. Long positions can be gradually entered around 94,000-94,500 support, with a stop-loss below 93,500, targeting 96,500-97,500. A breakout above 98,000 could extend toward previous highs. For short positions, try lightly shorting near 97,500-98,000 resistance, with a stop-loss above 98,500, targeting 95,500-94,500. If the daily closing price effectively breaks below 93,500, long positions should be exited promptly to avoid trend weakening.
