Many friends ask me how to quickly get started with Dusk. It's actually not that complicated. Let me share my own onboarding experience.
First, let's talk about wallet selection. Using the official Web Wallet is enough; there's no need to bother with complicated client programs. You can use it directly in your browser, just set up a password during registration. A special emphasis here is on the mnemonic phrase—be sure to write it down with a pen and keep it safe. Never store it on your phone to avoid the risk of leakage.
Next is the KYC verification step. If you want to experience the full features of Dusk, such as participating in RWA subscriptions or cross-chain transfers, this step is essential. The good news is that the process is very simple—upload your ID card and complete facial recognition, which takes just a few minutes. All data is encrypted during the process, so there's no need to worry about personal information being leaked.
The final step is to try small-scale staking as a test. This is the simplest passive income method. Open your wallet, find the staking feature, select nodes with a running time of more than half a year, enter the amount you want to stake, and confirm. You can see the earnings credited directly every day, and you can redeem at any time—liquidity is completely unrestricted.
I learned all this step by step, and now I am quite familiar with most of Dusk's features. Honestly, the barrier to entry for cryptocurrencies isn't that high. Choose the right project, follow the official procedures, and even beginners can get started.
