U.S. House Speaker: U.S. Military Will Not Conduct Ground Operations in Iran
Golden Finance reports that on March 25th, local time, U.S. House Speaker Johnson stated that the Iran war is “close to ending and objectives have been achieved,” while emphasizing that the U.S. military buildup in the Middle East is a warning to Iran and that “ground operations will not be conducted.” Recently, the Trump administration was reported to be deploying additional ground forces to the Middle East. The Marine Corps Expeditionary Units 31 and 11, totaling thousands of troops, are already en route, and combat units under the 82nd Airborne Division are also preparing to head to the Middle East.
