Ministry of Civil Affairs: Elderly Care Service Consumption Subsidy Program for Moderately and Severely Disabled Seniors Has Benefited Over 1.05 Million People

As of the 24th, the Ministry of Civil Affairs announced that nationwide, a total of 3.328 million elderly care service consumption vouchers have been redeemed, amounting to 2.35 billion yuan. This has driven 11.5 billion yuan in elderly care service consumption, benefiting over 1.05 million disabled seniors. The Ministry stated that moving forward, they will continue to focus on improving people’s livelihoods and promoting consumption, address bottlenecks and difficulties in project implementation, continuously optimize processes, enhance services, strengthen supervision, and expand the scope of beneficiaries and the accuracy of services so that more elderly people can share the fruits of reform and development.
