Gelonghui March 25 — Yu Cheng Logistics (08489.HK) announced that for the fiscal year 2025, the group’s total revenue was approximately HKD 723.6 million, a decrease of about 31.6% year-on-year. This decline was due to (i) the impact of newly implemented US tariffs, which significantly reduced demand for the group’s freight forwarding services; and (ii) intensified industry competition exerting substantial pressure on pricing, compressing customers’ acceptable markup margins. The group’s existing airline contracts adopt fixed-price terms, forcing the group to sell at a loss to avoid fines and maintain business, further exacerbating the situation. The group recorded a net loss of approximately HKD 44.9 million for the fiscal year 2025, a significant increase from about HKD 3.7 million in the fiscal year 2024. However, compared to the net loss of about HKD 35.7 million in the first half of 2025, the net loss in the second half of 2025 has shown some moderation.
