We’re more than halfway through the trading day and stocks are extending their rally from Tuesday, as investors gear up for a major gut check after the closing bell, and that’s Nvidia earnings.

The stock is up about 2% heading into the report as the chip giant will post results at 4:20 p.m. Eastern time, and the CEO Jensen Wong, often referred to as the Godfather of AI, will speak to investors and analysts at 5:00 p.m. Eastern.

Now, another stock that I’m watching, it’s home improvement retailer Lowes.

Shares are sliding after the retailer’s outlook for this year. Well, they didn’t impress the street, they missed their expectations.

But I did catch up with CEO Marvin Ellison over the phone right after he caught up with investors, and he said the guidance needed to be conservative because of a very dynamic tariff environment and a weak housing market.

And that is your Yahoo Finance market minute.
