Ant Afu and Mianian Health "Join Hands" for AI Health Services to Shift from Single Point to Closed-Loop

“How long has it been since your last health check-up report was put away?” “With pages full of arrows, English abbreviations, and reference ranges, many people’s first reaction to the report is: I don’t understand it, I’ll just set it aside.” In the face of the confusion most people have regarding health check-up reports, the platform integration efforts in the health management sector continue.

Meinian Health (002044.SZ) and Ant Health recently announced a comprehensive strategic cooperation. According to the information disclosed by both parties, the cooperation will focus on AI interpretation of health check-up reports as the first implemented scenario, relying on Ant Health’s application “Ant Fu” to provide AI health management services to users of health check-up institutions within the Meinian Health system.

Against the backdrop of an aging population, a high incidence of chronic diseases, and an increasing awareness of health among residents, the core value of the health industry is evolving from the billion-level health check-up market to a broader health management service market.

From Single-Service to a Closed Loop of Health Management

In recent years, there have been increasing cases of deep integration between Internet health platforms and offline medical institutions. With an increase in user health awareness and the accelerated penetration of AI technology, service models centered around prevention and long-term health management are gradually gaining shared attention from the market and the industry.

According to the cooperation arrangement, Meinian Health’s AI assistant “Health Xiao Mei” has entered the Ant Fu App. After users complete authorization, they can query their past three years of health check-up reports from institutions like Meinian Health, Ciming Health Check-up, Ciming Aoya Health Management, and Meizhao Health Medical Check-up, and obtain AI-generated interpretation content.

Public information shows that Meinian Health is one of the domestic chain health check-up institutions. As of the end of 2024, the company has nearly 600 health check-up centers, receiving approximately 30 million visits annually, with a cumulative service count exceeding 260 million people since its listing. In recent years, the company has been continuously promoting its “All in AI” strategy, with AI-related business revenue of approximately 250 million yuan in the first three quarters of 2025.

Ant Health has been deeply engaged in the industry for over a decade and has formed a large user base in scenarios such as appointment registration, payment, and medical insurance code payments. Official disclosure data shows that the platform currently connects with over 5,000 public hospitals nationwide and more than 300,000 registered doctors. Its health AI application “Ant Fu” handles over 10 million health consultations daily, providing users with diverse health services such as health consultations, health check-up report interpretations, online consultations, appointment registrations, and medical insurance payments.

Connecting Online and Offline Service Networks

Structurally, the basic model of this cooperation is that the AI technology capabilities of the Ant Health platform and the continuously growing demand for health services will better collaborate with Meinian’s professional service capabilities, allowing Meinian to expand its service reach through the Ant platform.

After authorizing the Meinian Health AI assistant “Health Xiao Mei” in the Ant Fu App, users can query their past three years of Meinian health check-up reports and obtain AI interpretations with one click. “Health Xiao Mei” relies on Meinian Health’s health data and medical knowledge graph, possessing three core capabilities. First, it translates complex biochemical indicators and medical terminology into easily understandable health language, using “red, yellow, green” risk stratification labels to help users intuitively understand their health status; second, for abnormal indicators, it generates personalized health intervention plans and medical guidance by combining clinical medical knowledge bases and evidence-based medical pathways; third, for users with continuous health check-up records, it identifies key indicators’ cross-year trends through multi-temporal data analysis, providing proactive health warnings.

This implementation pathway reflects the overall thinking of the cooperation between the two parties: using AI report interpretation as an entry point, gradually extending to personalized project recommendations before the check-up, intelligent service assistance during the check-up, and online consultations, medication purchases, and follow-up after the check-up, constructing a service closed loop that spans the user’s health journey.

Industry insiders believe that the deeper significance of this cooperation lies in the fact that the two institutions, leveraging their respective core capabilities, have jointly built a foundational infrastructure for AI medical health services that combines digital entry, professional judgment, and standardized fulfillment capabilities. As the links between health check-ups, consultations, online consultations, medication purchases, payments, insurance, and health management are further integrated, both parties are expected to work together to upgrade health services from single touchpoints to a data-driven, continuously iterated AI medical health service platform, thereby opening new industrial space in the trillion-level medical health service market centered around the innovative concept of “life asset management.”
