Live Nation Entertainment CEO Michael Rapino testified in an antitrust trial in New York, defending the company’s dominant position against accusations of greed and abusive practices by attorneys representing 33 states and the District of Columbia. Rapino addressed claims about shutting out competitors, driving up prices, and issues related to Taylor Swift and Adele ticket sales, attributing some problems to cyberattacks and safety concerns. He also responded to a controversial internal message from a Live Nation employee, calling it “disgusting” and stating plans to address it.
