卓创资讯:In the first quarter, piglet prices rose initially and then fell, and it is expected that prices may stabilize in the second quarter.

Looking ahead to the second quarter, the piglet market is expected to stabilize and stop its short-term decline, but a significant increase lacks solid support. From the demand side, the spring replenishment season is gradually starting, coupled with the approaching Qingming Festival, which drives the stocking demand from slaughter enterprises; the willingness to replenish at the terminal market shows a marginal warming trend. From the supply side, some farmers are showing reluctance to sell, and large-scale farms are slowing down the pace of piglet sales, leading to a short-term reduction in effective market supply. Based on a comprehensive assessment, Zhuochuang Information predicts that in early April, piglet prices will show a “stable yet slightly strong” trend, but the upward momentum is relatively weak, making it difficult to see a significant rebound.
