New World Department Store China announces that Hu Yujun will assume the roles of Executive Director and Group CEO starting next month, bringing over 30 years of experience in retail and real estate industries. She has served the company for many years and was promoted to Senior Operating Director of K11 in 2018.

New World Department Store China (00825) announced that Hu Yujun has been appointed as an Executive Director and the Company’s Chief Administrative Officer, as well as a member of the Executive Committee, with effect from next month’s 1st.

At 60 years old, Hu Yujun has more than 30 years of experience in the retail and real estate industries in Mainland China and Hong Kong. She joined the company in 1993, was promoted to Corporate Affairs Director in 2003, and was reassigned in 2014 to become the Managing Director of K11 Concepts Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of New World Development (00017). She was subsequently promoted in July 2018 to Senior Operating Director of K11. She left K11 last March to spend more time on her personal development.
