Samsung Electronics Q1 DRAM prices increase from 70% to 100%

On March 4, Samsung Electronics has completed final negotiations for first-quarter DRAM supply prices with major customers last month, with the average price of server, PC, and mobile general-purpose DRAM rising by about 100% compared to the previous quarter, and doubling compared to the fourth quarter of last year; some customers and products even saw increases exceeding 100%. The report cites industry insiders revealing that negotiations have come to a comprehensive close, and some overseas customers have completed payment. This increase has expanded by about 30 percentage points in just one month from the 70% level negotiated in January this year. (Kexin Board Daily)
