The Supreme Leader's advisor in Iran reiterates the conditions for ending the war: Iran receives all compensation, all economic sanctions are lifted, and there is international legal assurance that the United States will not interfere in Iran's affairs.

In an interview on Iran’s state TV on March 23, Iran’s newly appointed Supreme Leader’s military adviser, Mohsen Rezai, emphasized that Iran will only stop the war once Iran has received all reparations, once all economic sanctions have been lifted, and once it has obtained international legal guarantees that the United States will not interfere in Iran’s affairs. Rezai also emphasized that Iran’s dispute with the United States is not only about this conflict or the U.S.-Israeli attack on Iran last June, but has been ongoing for 47 years since the Islamic Revolution of Iran’s victory in 1979, and it must “be settled once and for all.” (CCTV International News)
