Founder of Chen Baliang Noodle House, Wang Shaojun: The reconstruction of the restaurant operation system must return to organization and talent
On March 24, the 2026 China Catering Industry Festival and the 35th HCC Global Catering Industry Expo, co-hosted by the World Chinese Cuisine Association and Hongcan Network, opened at the Hangzhou International Conference and Exhibition Center. Wang Shaojun, founder of Chen Baliang Noodle Restaurant, shared his views on the issue of category integration at the “2026 China Snack and Fast Food Development Forum.”

Wang Shaojun stated that whether it is a single brand, multiple brands, regional or national, the brand must achieve differentiation. On the premise of having a differentiated brand positioning, the single-store model should be gradually refined to address any shortcomings.
Wang Shaojun also mentioned that the reconstruction of the operational system should return to organization and talent, which has been the focus of his team’s efforts.
“Whether it’s a project or development, it all revolves around people. The partner level addresses issues such as corporate strategy and profit models, the internal team resolves issues of mid-platform operations, and the backend involves supply chain partners,” he said.
