People’s Finance News, March 26—A reporter learned from the Guangdong Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development that in recent days, multiple places in Guangdong have actively promoted the introduction of housing provident fund policy measures. Many cities have actively adjusted upward the maximum amount of housing provident fund loans, increased support for families with multiple children, for people buying green building or prefabricated building residential homes, and more, and relaxed the application requirements for converting commercial personal housing loans to personal housing provident fund loans (referred to as “commercial-to-provident-fund”). This is intended to fully leverage the role of the housing provident fund in supporting housing consumption and to ease the home-purchase burden of depositors. In the past month, eight cities—Shenzhen, Huizhou, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, Yangjiang, Zhaoqing, Qingyuan, and Yunfu—have already issued new housing provident fund policy measures. (CCTV News)
