Synopsys reports $2.409 billion in revenue for FY2026Q1, outperforming external expectations.
On February 27, IT Home reported that Synopsys announced its financial report for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026 (note: ending January 31, 2026) on the 25th of this month local time. The company achieved a revenue of $2.409 billion during the reporting period (approximately 16.507 billion RMB at current exchange rates), with a quarter-over-quarter increase of about 7%, exceeding the market expectation of $2.39 billion.
For the second quarter of FY2026, Synopsys expects revenue to reach around $2.25 billion, slightly higher than the analyst consensus of $2.24 billion, and the Non-GAAP EPS metric is also better than market expectations. For the full fiscal year, Synopsys believes revenue could reach approximately $9.61 billion.
Sassine Ghazi, President and CEO of Synopsys, stated:
Synopsys enters 2026 with a richer product portfolio, a leading position across various business fields, and the most attractive development roadmap in the company’s history.
AI will continue to drive strong system-level and semiconductor R&D, and the continuously enhancing AI capabilities in our product portfolio will reinforce our strategic advantage and accelerate customer innovation.
