Iranian media: The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy has been killed! He was responsible for blockading the Strait of Hormuz.
Israeli media reported that the commander of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy has died.
On the 26th, Israeli media cited sources saying that the commander of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy was killed during Israeli military operations.
According to CCTV news, this commander was responsible for blocking the Strait of Hormuz and was killed in an attack at Abbas Port. Currently, there has been no response from Iran.
Previously, the government of Iran’s Hormozgan Province stated today (March 26) that the U.S. and Israel launched an attack on a residential area in Abbas Port, causing multiple explosions. The local government reported that after the attack, rescue, firefighting, and security personnel quickly rushed to the scene and called on the public to remain calm and avoid approaching the area to facilitate rescue efforts.
Additionally, the Central Headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces, Khatam al-Anbiya, released statistics on the 26th stating that since the U.S. and Israel launched military operations against Iran on the 28th of last month, Iran has hit or shot down 202 various U.S. and Israeli military aircraft, including MQ-9 Reaper drones, KC-135 aerial refueling tankers, and fighter jets such as F-35, F-15, F-16, and F-18.
