OPPO Find N6 Launch: Solving the Foldable Screen Crease Issue, Starting at 9,999 Yuan

With the new generation titanium alloy hinge and celestial memory glass technologies, it addresses the crease problem that has plagued the foldable screen industry for 8 years. OPPO’s Chief Product Officer Liu Zhaohua emphasized: “The OPPO Find N6 breaks the industry’s stereotypes; it is not just flat out of the factory, but remains flat even after long use.”

According to reports, the new generation titanium alloy celestial hinge adopts a biomimetic symmetrical four-axis structure, which increases torque by 20% compared to traditional three-axis hinges, while reducing the surface unevenness from 0.18 mm to 0.1 mm. OPPO has also applied precision processing technology from the chip field to hinge manufacturing, introducing chip-level polymer 3D printing technology, which enhances the flatness of the hinge middle plate by up to 75%; the celestial memory glass uses a super-strong new substrate that can withstand up to 5 kilograms of pressure. Through deep chemical reinforcement processes, the ability to resist bending deformation is increased by 338% compared to traditional flexible glass, achieving 99.9% shape self-repair after bending, and quickly bouncing back and fading crease marks after unfolding.

With these two technologies, the OPPO Find N6 becomes the world’s first foldable flagship certified by the German TÜV for “no crease through continuous 600,000 folding tests remaining flat,” and is recognized as the “world’s flattest foldable phone”; it also achieves IP56/IP58/IP59 top-level waterproofing.

The OPPO Find N6 offers three color options: gold-orange, titanium gray, and deep black. The outer screen features an ultra-narrow bezel design, paired with an 8.12-inch inner screen. Both screens come equipped with a 1 nit eye-care display, and the peak brightness for both screens has been increased to 1800 nits; it is powered by the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Supreme mobile platform combined with a 6000 mAh glacier battery, along with 80W wired super flash charging and 50W wireless flash charging.
